L.L.Bean 4th of July 1-Mile Fun Run

Anyone registering before Monday March 26th at 4:00pm will be placed in a random lottery for a pair of New Balance running shoes. (200 pair to give away in this lottery)

Winning names will be posted on this website Monday April 2nd. No one will be notified by e-mail, please check the website to see if you have been randomly selected.

There is no advantage in being one of the first 200 to register. You are eligible for the lottery as long as you register before March 26th by 4:00pm.

First 1,500 10K Road Race registrants receive a New Balance Tech Tee race shirt.

Youth participants of the Fun Run/Walk receive a cotton youth-sized t-shirt with exclusive design. Adult participants in the Fun Run/Walk do not receive a t-shirt.

No shoes will be given to Fun Run/Walk participants. Shoes for 10K runners will be distributed when you pick up your race packet- in person only. L.L.Bean is unable to offer exchanges, refunds or returns on these shoes. Please check your New Balance shoe size and width before registering.

*Cost covers online registration fees. All remaining proceeds to benefit the Casco Bay YMCA of Freeport, Maine

Field Limit:

10K Registration will be limited to 1,500 online registrations and only 100 registrations available the day of the race.

Only 10K runners wearing a ChampionChip will be timed.

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: A keepsake will be available for all registered participants; timer
clock will run, but times will not be recorded.

10K Awards:

Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female overall winners. Additional awards go to the top three male and top three female finishers in the following groups:

14 & under	30-34	50-54	70 & over
15-19	35-39	55-59	L.L.Bean employee
20-24	40-44	60-64	YMCA member
25-29	45-49	65-69	Freeport resident

Winners will receive awards in one category only.

Packet Pick-up
Early packet pick-up is highly recommended to reduce congestion and delays on race day.

Pick-up times will be:
Monday, July 2nd from 5pm-8pm.
Tuesday, July 3rd from 4pm-8pm.
Wednesday (Race day), July 4th from 5:30am-6:45am.

Packet pick-up location will be:
Freeport Town Park, corner of Bow and Park Streets, Freeport, ME (Same location as last year)

WE'RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
Bringing friends and family with you on race day? We need volunteers to help with a variety of activities including traffic control, flagging, water stops, finish line and post-race clean-up.
